We are proud to share that our Founder, Prof. Xiaolan Fu, Fellow of the British Academy and Member of the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) High-Level Advisory Board, participated in the 80th anniversary commemoration of the United Nations Charter.

As part of the UNDESA High-Level Advisory Board meeting and public dialogue themed “Charting New Directions,” Prof. Fu contributed to an expert panel titled “The New Economics of Social Inclusion.”

In her keynote, “From Smart AI to Inclusive AI,” she discussed how artificial intelligence and emerging technologies are reshaping global production structures and advancing pathways toward sustainable development. Drawing on OxValue.AI’s initiatives and the Inclusive Digital Model project in Bangladesh, Prof. Fu highlighted how technology can promote both inclusion and sustainability.

She emphasized that AI is becoming a new form of global infrastructure and a key transformative force, advocating for:

• The establishment of a UN-led Global Inclusive AI Centre to advance inclusive AI technologies and applications;
• Capacity building and infrastructure cooperation targeting women, youth, and least developed countries;
• Development of global AI governance, ethics, and standards frameworks to ensure trust and responsible innovation.
