OxValue.AI is proud to share that our founder, Professor Xiaolan Fu, played a important role in supporting the launch of the Nature’s Intelligence Studio at COP30.

Announced this month by the TIDE Centre, University of Oxford (formerly TMCD Centre), the Nature’s Intelligence Studio is built on a compelling vision: to enable innovation to learn directly from nature. The initiative aims to integrate biodiversity and technology to drive the next generation of sustainable solutions.

With much of the world’s richest biodiversity located in the Global South, the Studio seeks to harness this “natural intelligence” to inspire more inclusive, resilient, and environmentally aligned development pathways.

The Studio’s initial work will begin in Latin America and the Caribbean, where it will collaborate with local innovators, governments, researchers, and communities to establish a strong foundation for nature-inspired innovation.

We are delighted to see Professor Fu contribute to this pioneering initiative and look forward to the transformative opportunities that arise when development is guided by—rather than separated from—the natural world.
