Founder Prof. Xiaolan Fu speaks at the Seventh World Intelligence Congress

Company News – On the 18th of May, Founder Professor Xiaolan Fu attended the Vision China event, hosted by China Daily. The theme of the event was “Intelligence: Extensive Development Space, Sustainable Growth Driver”. This event was a part of the Seventh World Intelligence Congress held in Tianjin, China.

During the event, Prof. Fu discussed the role of AI in sustainable growth. She pointed out that while AI brings a multitude of opportunities for development, it also presents significant challenges. Therefore, seizing these digital windows of opportunities and innovatively applying AI to promote development has become especially important. Prof. Fu showcased OxValue.AI as an example of using AI technology to facilitate progress. She firmly believes that humans can control the risks of AI development and continue to benefit from technological advancements and revolutions.

Professor Xiaolan Fu, founder of OxValue.AI, is a Professor of Technology and International Development at the University of Oxford, a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences, and the Founding Director of the Technology and Management Centre for Development (TMCD).
 
She has authored several books and received awards for her research on innovation, technology policy, and management. Her research interests include valuation, knowledge transfer, inclusive development, and green innovation. She was appointed by the Secretary-General to the Governing Council of the Technology Bank of the United Nations.
