Founder Prof. Xiaolan Fu speaks at the 14th Summer Davos

Company News – Our founder, Prof. Xiaolan Fu, attended the World Economic Forum’s 14th Annual Meeting of the New Champions, also known as Summer Davos, held in Tianjin, China, from 27-29 June. Her speech at this forum was reported by major media outlets, including Xinhua News Agency.

Prof. Fu delivered a speech on “Horizon Scan: China Future Trends” at the World Economic Forum’s Strategic Intelligence platform session. She shared her predictions and insights on the most crucial emerging trends in sustainability, innovation, and society emerging from China, along with their global implications. Prof. Fu emphasized that innovation and modernization will be the main driving forces behind the next wave of growth in the Chinese economy.The Strategic Intelligence platform by the World Economic Forum is engineered to enhance understanding of complex forces driving transformational changes, featuring Artificial Intelligence as one of its key topics.

Professor Xiaolan Fu, founder of OxValue.AI, is a Professor of Technology and International Development at the University of Oxford, a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences, and the Founding Director of the Technology and Management Centre for Development (TMCD).
 
She has authored several books and received awards for her research on innovation, technology policy, and management. Her research interests include valuation, knowledge transfer, inclusive development, and green innovation. She was appointed by the Secretary-General to the Governing Council of the Technology Bank of the United Nations.
