Company News- On September 11, 2023, Professor Xiaolan Fu, founder of OxValue.AI attended the “High-Quality Development: Unleashing the Power of Digitalisation” 2023 International Forum on the Digital Revolution for Innovation and Development in Changzhou, Jiangsu, China. 

At the Forum, Prof. Fu introduced OxValue.AI and its valuation tool to the audience. She highlighted that the valuation tool has unique advantages. It focuses on the intrinsic characteristics of technology, utilising big data and machine learning methods with objective and public data to provide objective, accurate, scientific, low-cost, and swift valuations for start-ups and innovation teams, investors, financial institutions, consultancy firms, academic teams, and government departments. After her introduction, a colleague from OxValue.AI also shared his insights on digital innovation and investment with the audience.

Over 100 enterprises attended this forum. This forum facilitated communication between OxValue.AI and enterprises in Changzhou and the Jiangsu Region, and also promoted their future cooperation in actively leveraging the role of the digital revolution in high-quality economic development and promoting the rapid growth of regional urban economies.

About Professor Xiaolan Fu

Professor Xiaolan Fu, the founder of OxValue.AI, serves as a Professor of Technology and International Development at the University of Oxford and is a distinguished Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences. She is also the Founding Director of the Technology and Management Centre for Development (TMCD).

Her scholarly pursuits encompass innovation, technology, industrialization, and management. She has spearheaded several research projects, including the Inclusive Digital Model and Innovation and Catch-up in the Platform Economy. These projects focus on optimizing digitization to contribute to the development of developing countries. Professor Fu is scheduled to share her insights at the upcoming 2023 World Investment Forum in October and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)’s forum in November.

The “High-Quality Development: Unleashing the Power of Digitalisation” 2023 International Forum on the Digital Revolution for Innovation and Development was co-hosted by Technology and Management Centre for Development (TMCD) at the University of Oxford and the Administration Committee of Changzhou Science and Education Town. It was co-organized by Oxford University Innovation (OUI) Changzhou, Changzhou Productivity Development Centre, and Changzhou National University Science and Technology Park Management Centre.

The forum delved deeply into topics related to the digital revolution and high-quality economic development and was attended by more than 100 participants. This included academic experts from the University of Oxford, Tsinghua University, and Chinese Academy of Science and Technology for Development, as well as industry experts from Technology Transfer Centre at Tianjin University, Guangdong Equity Exchange, CIPRun Group, and Loongrise Avionics Co. Ltd.
