On April 9, 2024, the Research Institute of The People’s Bank of China hosted the ninth session of the China Monetary and Financial Forum. Professor Xiaolan Fu, founder and director of the Oxford Centre for Technology and Development at Oxford University, delivered a lecture on “AI-Enabled Technology Valuation Methods.” She discussed the current bottlenecks and challenges in traditional technology valuation, introduced AI-enabled algorithms suitable for startup and patent valuation, and detailed the theoretical innovations, underlying logic, and features such as security, flexibility, and applicability of the OxValue.AI valuation method. She also answered questions from attendees.

The lecture was chaired by Director Dr. Zhou Chengjun and featured comments and a summary speech by Dr. Lu Lei, Deputy Governor of the People’s Bank of China. Representatives from financial institutions like ICBC, China Construction Bank, CICC Global Institute, CITIC Securities, and China Zheshang Bank, as well as representatives from the Beijing Science and Technology Financial Experiment Zone, participated in this enthusiastic activity. Officials and researchers from the relevant departments of the People’s Bank of China, the Research Institute of The People’s Bank of China, and Ph.D. students from Tsinghua University’s PBC School of Finance attended the lecture.
