We are thrilled to share that our Founder, Prof. Xiaolan Fu, has been invited to join the United Nations High-level Advisory Board on Economic and Social Affairs (HLAB) for its third term, beginning in Spring 2025! 🎉

The Board, convened by Li Junhua, the Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs, has provided advice to the United Nations on broad economic and social issues, including near-term prospects and risks for the world economy, frontier technologies, inequality, migration, issues associated with countries in special situations. 🌍

Following her previous appointments as a member of the Ten-Member High-Level Advisory Group of the UN Technology Facilitation Mechanism and the Governing Council of the UN’s Technology Bank for Least Developed Countries, Prof. Fu is now making history as the first overseas Chinese to hold this prestigious position.💡

As Prof Fu shared:
“I am deeply honored to join the United Nations’ High-Level Advisory Board on Economic and Social Affairs. This appointment is both a privilege and a call to action—to provide strategic insights on frontier and emerging issues and to support the UN’s Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA).
